WhiteHouse.gov Goes Drupal [Updated] | Personal Democracy Forum

The Whitehouse has ditched its proprietary CMS and opted to deploy Drupal (the CMS platform that forms the basis for many of Futurate's websites). This is an interesting development that demonstrates that open source software is being taken seriously by the owners of high-volume, mission critcal sites. From a technical perspective Futurate are not exclusively open source, but where open source is preferred by our clients we use Drupal, and www.yorkshirefutures.com is an example of a fairly large-scale, complex website that we developed using this CMS.
